Storm
Photographer: Laver
Date: 2009
Camera: Nikon D200
Lens: Nikon 17-55 f/2.8
Lightning photography looks really cool, but is remarkably easy if you have the right equipment. Basically all you have to do is set your camera on a tripod with a long shutter speed (over 10 sec) and wait for lighting to strike!
Rock in Rushing Water
Photographer: Laver
Date: c.1998?
Camera: Minolta Maxxum 7
Film: Fujichrome Velvia 50
Ok, this is an old one that I took when I was in high school in the 90's. It's not a great shot, but a good example of using a slow shutter speed (likely around 1/4sec) and a tripod to give the impression of motion.
